Orchestra Updates 10/16/2017

Orchestra Students and Parents,

Good Afternoon and Happy No-School Monday!

I want to thank everyone who attended the Fall Concert last Wednesday. Thank you for supporting the students and the Fine Arts program! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Band and Orchestra Concert on December 14th!!

The second nine weeks of the school year begins tomorrow, 10/17. For the next few weeks, the county has decided to make the following Mondays FULL-LENGTH days: 10/23, 10/3, 11/6, and 11/13. These dates are full-length days to make up for instructional time lost during Hurricane Irma. Because of this change, the Chamber Ensemble (2nd period) will be rehearsing after school on the following WEDNESDAYS: 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, and 11/15 from 3:15 PM- 4:15 PM. Please plan rides accordingly!! If there is a conflict, please take time to read and fill out the Excused Absence Form. This form is also located on Charms under Orchestra Documents.

The students recently received Poinsettia flyers and order forms. All payments and order forms are due on Friday, November 3rd. Students, if you need another order form it is located on Charms.

I will continue to send weekly emails to keep everyone updated of upcoming events for our Instrumental Program.
